So Far Away

This is my life
It's not what it was before
All these feelings I've shared
And these are my dreams
That I'd never lived before
Somebody shake me 'cause I
I must be sleeping

Chorus
Now that we're here, it's so far away
All the struggle we thought was in vain
And all the mistakes, one life contained
They all finally start to go away
And now that we're here, it's so far away
And I feel like I can face the day
And I can forgive
And I'm not ashamed to be
The Person that I am today

These are my words
That I've never said before
I think I'm doing okay
And this is the smile
That I've never shown before
Somebody shake me 'cause I
I must be sleeping

Chorus (altered)
Now that we're here,
it's so far away
All the struggle we thought was in vain
And all the mistakes, one life contained
They all finally start to go away
And now that we're here, it's so far away
And I feel like I can face the day
I can forgive
And I'm not ashamed to be
The Person that I am today

I'm so afraid of waking
Please don't shake me
Afraid of waking
Please don't shake me

God, Mr. Clean, and a sense of humour..

ANGER!
FRUSTRATION!
PATIENCE!
FEAR!

These may not BE the Fruits of the Spirit...but today they seemed to be the fruits of MY spirit.
As most/most/none of you know..i work at shoppers drug mart, at 1531 Bayview avenue, toronto. Every Tuesday i switch from my elustrious cashiering position and do merchandising. From 5am-1pm. Oh how i loathe it. And today, EVERYTHING went wrong. Boxes broke, things dropped, stuff spilled, people got lazy. Everything. I had to basically do 2 peoples jobs. And so, frustration started to build. Fear of losing my patience grew too...anger Everything just seemed to make a nice stockpile inside me. Box after box started to drop and i kept hitting my elbows, until finally i lost my temper. Something i havent done for years. A bottle of mr. Clean fell clear out of a bow and onto the floor. Nothing spectacular you'd think. But for me it was like the icing on a very poorly put together birthday cake.

So....i kicked it> i know. Childish, but i kicked Mr. Clean, clear across the stock room basement. End to end, ending with mr clean meeting mr garbage can at the end. unbelievable. It was like seeing slow motion of one of those field goal kicks. So i calmly walked over to the garbage can to pick it out..and couldnt help let out a chuckle. Their were other bottles inside the same garbage can. Kicked or not...i knew i wasn't the only one. Riding on 3 horus sleep, i slapped a grin on my face and merily continued on with my day, scraping my elbows, dropping boxes, and being unearningly nice to my boss. I dont know why i shared this..no one will read it. But still. It was one of those days.

I'll come abck with another miscellaneous story in a day or two. For whoever cares.
